Potluck: Johnson Happy Hour

This is a true community potluck! Bring a food item if you can, but it’s not required. Hotel Giles guests are always welcome. Potluck is held at Food For the Soul Bistro, which has recently moved to the Gast Haus at Meyer Inn, on the east end of High Street. Beer and wine are available to purchase from Just Chillin' Wine Bar, which adjoins the bistro. The food and friends are free. They have extended an open invitation to the guests of Hotel Giles for a meal and a small town welcome. Mike and Mary Anne Johnson started Johnson Happy Hour Potluck in 2018. Unfortunately, Mike passed away in 2021, but Mary Anne and her daughter Shelby are carrying on the tradition. The crowd has evolved since its inception, but there's a large core group who you'll see most Tuesday evenings. It's a friendly, supportive crowd who will welcome you with open arms.
