But more than that, Elephant Story is a not-for-profit organization aimed at promoting elephant conservation in Asian elephant countries. An impressive collection of fair trade goods are offered to fund programs for families and their 300 elephants in northeast Thailand.

For a gift shop that's so much more, visit Huckleberry's (708 High St.) Originally geared toward home decor, gifts and jewelry, Huckleberry's has branched out. In addition to the store, it's now a beautiful place to host events, drink beer and boutique wines, and listen to incredible live music on Friday nights.

If you want to step up your style game with trendy outfits and accessories, there are two great options right across the street from one another. At Elizabeth Daniell Boutique (705 High St.) find adorable designer dresses and casual styles that can take you from day to night.
